We must consider our impact on biodiversity. The existence of life is a fine balance that relies on wild species, like the bats, to thrive for many other species - including us humans - to survive.

Handbuilt Ceramics

Angela is a charming, beautiful artist working along side the wonderful Emma Camden. Angela sees it as her responsibility to form a message with all of the beautiful creatures and figures she creates with her handbuilt ceramics. As such, the wonderful bats, a display of over 100 bats, sent the message that bats are endangered in New Zealand. Likewise her birds, stunningly elegant and beautifully executed, are endangered or close to. While you surround yourself with a piece of her art, you also tell the story to assist in creating awareness for our feathered friends. ARTFORM.

Since completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction in 2005, Angela has continued to exhibit in numerous group shows as well as award-based exhibitions. On a ‘Wing and a Prayer’ was the last solo show at Tree Object Space Desire Gallery in Whanganui, March 2017; with a focus on our New Zealand critically endangered birds.

Angela is new to Artform, and we welcome her with open arms.
