Hand-thrown vessel by Peter Collis

After an inspirational sabbatical in LA, California, Peter has developed glazes that represent the colours of LA – this collection, ‘Sunset Boulevard’, are the colours of the sunset everyday – not doubt that that is where the famous Boulevard gets its name from. The blue of the sky meets the reds and oranges when the sun sets, merging and contrasting its way into darkness. A daily feast for the eye. The shapes are a nod to mid-century design, heavily represented in the local area where Peter & Julie lived.
