Handblown Platter by Justin Culina

The Mahua Bird is a little Yellowhead, native to New Zealand. It is tiny and flitters around the flora and fauna of the South Island and Stewert Island, eating insects while dancing in the air. The colours go from an intense orange of the breast feathers to a beautiful yellow of the head and wingtips - just like the amazing platter shown here.
