Janette Cervin has been passionate and engaged in the joys of nature from a young age, growing up in her parent’s stunning flower nursery. This idyllic setting has impressed upon Janette as she has grown into her artistic practice - allowing her a muse, capturing the local flora and fauna around her. Particularly she captures in her paintings the wild birdlife which is prolific near her home. The resin pouring technique which she applies between layers of highly detailed paintings creates an enchanting depth to her work, making the birds and settings truly come to life. This piece in particular has been poured with a matt resin allowing a richness to the depth.
